Anaphylaxis, a severe life-threatening allergic reaction that can result in death, has a potential health and safety impact for the American workplace. To raise awareness of this issue, ACOEM, in partnership with the National Safety Council and with funding from Pfizer, has developed a webinar – Anaphylaxis in the Workplace -- which takes a close look at anaphylaxis in the workplace, including what employers can do to raise overall awareness, help at-risk employees avoid accidental allergen exposures, and incorporate anaphylaxis response into existing company safety plans.
